I feel like we need to get lots more comms active, that's the platform's major strength. (I'm totally gonna get to that old-style table challenge comm I keep talking about, I just need to get through this batch of orders).

And I agree - comms are what's needed.
What flavor of challenge comm are you thinking about constructing?

Yeah, and when I click on some existing comms and there's like one person who's been keeping the faith for the past five years (and I very much appreciate those true-believers, but to a newcomer that's just gonna look weird).

I want to do one of those challenge comms where you pick a prompt table and just go at your own pace. I'm doing a few bingos, but the time limits kill me. My main wants are to do a big range of prompts, so there are loads of different tables to pick from, and it's more open to a range of stuff? And also I want to set up the badges and things beforehand so people can just claim them as they're done - I know people always liked the personalised 'prizes', but then you get things like computer crashes, or mods getting busy, and I just feel like it's worth the trade-off.
