it's like a train wreck, only fluffier

I mixed this batt up some time last year, can't remember exactly when.  I'd hand-dyed some merino in greens, but it didn't turn out how I wanted, so I over-dyed it darker, then I carded it with some baby yak down for the warm, and some angelina for sparkle.  I think I'm going to use it for my 'modern wilderness' square on my bingo card.

Okay, so, the mawata I've been dyeing red appears to finally be holding the dye (it took some rinsing) and is now drying. I'm going to use it for the Phoenix/Firebird prompt, along with some seed beads I think.





I thought I'd let it get overheated, and lost the lustre, but it's still shiny.
