Yesterday was a bit of a bust. I woke up knowing nothing was going to happen, because wanderlust, so I ended up going to Newcastle market. Except at some point on the bus I forgot the plan and transferred to the Metrocentre bus (yay being perma-bombed on painkillers), had a bimble around there and Ikea, and didn't remember the plan until I got the bus back to Newcastle after the market was all packed up and gone.
Whoops.
Still, I got the new pillow I need, and some other odds and ends from Ikea, including some cute hooks for when my workroom's finally back to normal. Got a new blocking ruler, so technically I did some etsy work >.> There's a new stationery shop in Newcastle, and I got a squishy in the shape of a decision dice (I like squishies, but don't really have any because there's a finite amount of space on my desk and I'm overflowing at the best of times, but this one's double-use so I couldn't resist).
When I got home I wrote 500 or so words, the exact number's written down somewhere, so at least I did a bit of NaNo work - even if it is on the wrong project. I need a couple good days and I'll catch up.
Pain levels are up today, which is completely normal for the day after the dreaded wanderlust strikes (it's practically a hang-over), but the top-up pills and CBD seem to be taking care of it, so that's nice.
"I hereby take back every mean thing I ever said about you naming yourself Indigo," Perdita said. "Promise me, here and now, that you won't tell anyone or anything your deadname, not even a fireplace or a well or some stupid fairytale bullshit like that."
"Nothing in principle; it's a perfectly good name for a mortal - stars, we could maybe pull it off if you were the patron god of accountants, but as co-matriarch of this pantheon I flatly refuse to be put in a position where I'm introducing our resident Gathering Darkness and Weaver of Dreams as Adrian."
Whoops.
